Bubble Rescuers is a bubble-popping game with a rescue theme. Ice and snow cover the world. The local people need the player's help to generate enough heat to push back the cold. The player completes this task by popping hanging bubbles.
As with other bubble shooters, this game displays the bubbles in a mixed pattern inside a vertical rectangular field of play along with a lower-central ring shooter, a projectile, an aiming line and a targeting bubble. The player pops bubbles by creating clusters that contain three or more bubbles of the same color and avalanches of non-matching ones.
The player doesn't need to pop all the hanging rows. They merely need to create and replenish enough heat to defrost the land. An upper-left icon shows them the heat status at any given time. That said, they must pop clusters quickly or risk allowing the cold to return, as shown via an upper-right icon.
When the player performs well, the ice and snow disappear to reveal forests and happy residents. If they become stuck, they can continue to play with the help of bombs, jokers and other boosters.
Bubble Rescuers offers many rewards. As the player returns warmth to the land, they receive gold coins, crystal fragments and love hearts. They receive additional rewards when they complete daily tasks, lucky draw spins and specific achievements. They can also unlock locations and loot, rank on leaderboards, and win medals and other trophies.
